Stoneware cup by Malin Stocke.
Despite its simple and minimalist form, Stocke has worked with the cup for a long time. She turns it by hand and the shape can change slightly for each round. Function is the theme of the cup.
The size allows you to drink both tea and coffee from the cup. The cylindrical shape with a slight negative angle gives the cup its own expression but also makes the drink keep the heat longer. The wide base makes the cup stand firm. The handle is wide and comfortable to hold and balances the cup well so that it does not feel too heavy or that you burn your fingers against the cup.
The project "Meeting with a cup" is run jointly by the Form / Design Center and the Arts and Crafts Center and puts the cup in focus in order to lift the meeting with the handmade and the person behind it.
